They are out in force at Castaic scale right now. I mean in force. I got waved through.

Looks like they going after that "old iron".

I wondered what was up cause all these guys pulling of where the 5 truck lane starts, and the ones pulling off are these odd balls, old trucks, weird paint jobs, all have 9 foot tall CB antenna.

Looks like a circus on the shoulder.

Dude i don't remember half of the 48 state's regs. I used to know them well but since i rarely pull anything but my own trailers now that info had to be deleted off the hard drive in my head to make room for more important stuff like when is the best time of year to catch a tarpon at baca grande pass. It's that or im getting old and just can't recall things that i don't use often. I'm sticking to the hard drive theory.

LMAO...... I'm sticking to the hard drive theory myself anymore, or that it's all stored in a cloud and I can't figure out which one, haha~! ;)

Yes fl is very easy when it comes to trucking regs. Even od permitting is really simple, unless going to the keys. The keys have entirely different rules thsn the rest of Florida. For example on the mainland no movements after sunset, but Sith of Florida city and no movement till after 9 pm. So any od move is extra difficult to plan right. Not so bad this time of year when its daylight till 830ish but in the winter when its dark by 6 pm it can add an extra day and a half to the move.

I say we just give it back to Mexico... With a few well-placed "gifts" along the San Andreas fault line. Just a thought. We might not even have to give it back first.
