So I ordered a KR scan gauge today .

    The ways it plugs into the data port sucks. With age it is prone to wiggle loose and lose contact. They need to find a way to secure it to the port.

    What color screen do you use? I have found the green works best for me. Low at night and high during daylight hours.

    I didn’t know there were different colors. Can the brightness be lowered like at night?

    I hate glare so have it set to dark blue for now .
    Its only the 2nd night in the truck and parked so have much to learn .

    Yes it can. Gauge light can be off, low or high.
    There are about 1 trillion different colors that can be created.
    The green creates the most contrast making the gauge easy to read. For me any way.

    Glad you like it. The 4 displays I have are instant mpg, average mpg, coolant temp and volts.

    I have the display set on amber, it matches the color of my gauges.

    Well the scan gauge didnt live long lol.
    This morning the boost pressure went to 71 pounds and stayed there , and tonight the average mpg went to around 1100 mpg .
