So many morons out there think Corona is just another flu!

Some "muppets" take worldwide statistics and death rates, yet fail to consider that a majority of those countries have Socialized medicine and aged populations, such as Italy.
The quality of care is lower, and the overall general health of the population is degraded.
Italy, for example, has a largely senior population that smokes like a freight train.
Couple all of that with a respiratory disease and you'll get skyrocketing death rates that you're seeing as compared to the U.S.

 

Exactly. These punks in the lib states and in the WHO and media are screaming bloody murder. They dont even know how many have it. Theyre saying 86% who 'get the virus' wont even know it cuz they have no symptoms or ailments from it. So if we buy into the hysteria like the libs and media want us to, and say EVERYONE will get this thing, then that means 330M people getting sick, and what, maybe 500k die????? Who the hell cares?!!?! Thats no reason to crash our economy and destroy peoples lives and ability to make a living!!!!!

I agree you can calculate a death rate with your numbers. The problem is it is not ACCURATE.

 

Keep your expectations really low. After all, you're talking to truckers.

 

I had H1N1 jan 1 to Jan 19th with three weeks of recovery after. The subtype is a number I forgot but it is considered lethal. Doctors did a good job with special anti viral medicine and other things. However there was about 30 hours of my life missing when it attacked the brain. So thats gone. Just thankful that the medicines did what they were supposed to do.

I would not want Corona. I possess lung and trachea damage from trucking over the years already known to exist and not repairable. There are a couple of other things in my history that will work against me as well. However we will see how it goes.

I am tough when sick. I don't like being sick. When those fevers break I want out, get going we're late already.

 

And statistics are ONLY as good as the people punching in the numbers. If the people putting in numbers are libs/socialists/marxists/etc and are ideologically driven, then they are going to produce 'results' that affirm their ideologies.

 

Actually I did consider this, some places will be hit harder than others and some ages groups will be hit harder than others. The point of my post was as it stands globally if the numbers continue this exponential rise and the death rate continues at 13.8% this is nothing like the flu. its much worst.
