I may be completely wrong here but my Swift recruiter said it takes a 2 year commitment to completely pay off the academy training of $3,900 so you may need to stay longer than you are planning

Hey chubbs, if you are wanting to go conway. Why not work their dock for 30 days? After that 30 days as a yard jockey, they will train you to hold your CDL. Might want to check it out. I know it was one of my options here in St.louis. It does take a little longer, but you are still holding down a job and making money.

Here in STL you just need to Put your 30 days in their docks, then you work 30 hours/week paid and
10hrs/week unpaid training on their $ to get your CDL. Once you obtain that they will pay for those endorsements and such. And will have you drive for them. They train you the way they want you to do things, and boom. Your driving in a few months. Like i said it takes a little longer than school ls and such because your only putting in 10 hours a week for training. But you are still making good money through it.

So a person is free to boogie to another company at 1 years service without owing a tab? If they stay on for the second year do they get a $3,900 check at the end? My recruiter only answers my direct questions, never offers any additional info.
