Maybe should have used Montana with a little less mountainous area

Imagine doing it every Sunday Night for 20 years with a paper map and a roll of dimes for the pay phone.

Where are you headed in Boston? I ran up there last week. 81 to Scranton, 84 to Sturbridge, 90 over to 95 down to Norwood. Wasn't bad at all except the Pilot in Sturbridge is closed for construction. I had planned for fuel there. Got by at a TA close by.
Coming back I ran down 90/84 to Hartford then 91 to New Have, 95 west to 287 across the Tappan Zee bridge back to 78 then back in to PA. I didn't like it as much. More construction and tolls. I'll go again but I'll just plan the extra few miles to go up to Scranton and across 84 and back.

I try to avoid NYC. I go there with a step if there is enough money. I'm scared in a dry box, one accident/ road closure and you can get pushed to a low bridge.

Boston, no idea how get around inside the city. I have been loaded 78k hot a bridge max weight 65k. There was no sign, earlier. Then I get mad at myself for not knowing better.

I used to drive busloads of folks from the Salisbury, Maryland area up to NYC on day trips. I don’t miss trying to find a place to park, or trying to get into the Lincoln Tunnel (eight lanes of traffic merging down into two lanes of tunnel).

To me L.A. is easy. Oakland/San Francisco Bay Area is worse , but still doable. NY NJ PENN are a HARD NO !!!!
