Ill provide help even if the numbskull doesnt want it. Hey buddy u want to park next to me im gonna be standing there making sure u dont hit my ####. Because its always the guys that dont want help then they hit your truck and run off before u can get to them , they are little chicken ####heads. I try to find a spot next to somebodies blindside so they can sleep easy and not sleep with one eye open wondering which mega carrier is gonna bash his hood in tonight

That's a shame because there are some good people out there who would have welcomed your help. A few bad apples ruin the whole bunch and that pisses me off.

I know some think it's lazy, but I'll nose in, in a far corner spot whenever there's one open. Cuts the chance of being hit by 50%. 2nd I'd rather someone ricochet off my steel trailer vs my plastic front bumper, or fiberglass hood.. 3rd, I'm not big on idling so it helps keep the noise down.
If someone is struggling for a few mins, I'll jump out & spot. I've got time to kill, & it's better than watching people tear up an unsuspecting o/o truck minding their own business. Mega on mega I'll sit & watch the carnage because I'm a bit of an ###..

I just did 18 months backing up a little 45 foot tanker Behind a 280 inch wb Western Star that sucks backing up with the fairings and blind spots. , not to mention the turning radius.

I am pretty confident backing around the dairies but still struggle with backing in a tight spot at a truck stop because of the lack of lighting on trailer and blind spots.

Hang in there. Practice practice practice.

When I wasn't in a hurry at the yard I didn't finish my park job until the trailer was absolutely square in the hole.

Still struggle with it and suck at it.

Put a 12 or 50 foot boat on the trailer behind me and I could back up and zig zag through the parking lot in 6 th

Dang tanker width and truck fairings mess with me.

    Totally my MO.

Than out in the middle of nowhere in the corner of the parking lot comes some old noisy POS reefer nosing in right alongside at 3 in the morning.
