specing a new 579 which engine? isx 15 or MX13

    Im just going by my experience with the MX. I've had no problems with it at all.

    Thank you for your advice. I m sure I would be ok with the MX motor too.. but I do not want to chance it after getting burned by the Maxxforce disaster...

    Cummins is the way to go. We ran cats since 94' and got a 2011 Pete 387 with a cummins isx 450 and a 2013 t660 same engine and hp both 10 speeds and both run exceptionally. The Pete has 450k on it and the kW has 300k never seen a repair shop and don't intend to either. Mpg is great on both

    So far the 2016 mx13 in my opinion is a boat anchor. It has no pull in hills fuel is 6 to 6.5 at best. Reminds me of a mack. Go with the Cummins
