best way to teach yourself (seriously) is to not repeat the mistakes you make. we all make them, but when one's livelihood is at stake, how fast one smartens up is determined by how much money they owe for the things they bought on credit.....or trying to tell the bride, or trying to tell the boss.....why you are unemployed.
i had a motorbike wreck.....i had to jump thru hoops to explain to a potential employer it was not my fault, as it did show up on my DMV as....an accident. don't take for granted there is a difference.
I don't and as I previously stated...certain states do this. Not all of them. Florida does and it actually hurts you as a CDL holder.
So according to this, am I disqualified for 60 days? I have one other ticket for speeding almost 3 years ago. It was before I had a cdl.
Seems like 2 tickets for 15mph over in 3 years and your cdl is suspended for 60 days..... Which is why this ticket is a big problem.
According to table 2 it looks like I’m pretty well f***** if I’m convicted. Again, I need to check my employee handbook when I get back in the truck, but I can’t imagine I’ll have a job after a 60 day disqualification. My father in law is going to try calling the officer to see if he could reduce the ticket to an inspection or proof of insurance thing. Then I could disprove the lack of insurance if I wanted. If this doesn’t work and he submits the ticket as it’s written then I’ll go to the DA, and last case lawyer up. My personality says just pay the ticket, you messed up. But I also have a lot invested in this liscense and enjoy this career I’ve started, and what it can provide for our life. The latter trumps the former.
Yeah that’s why I hope he is right. I’m reading it as the second conviction in a 3 year period and your out 60 days
