I always tried to get an antenna that and mount it so that it was 13’7” high

So if the antenna didn’t hit a low overpass I knew I was good to fit the trailer under it .

And I wouldn’t bother with SSB

I have it on my radio and there is no traffic on it

unless you are running with 2 or more other drivers, and don't want to be bothered by normal CB radio BS, then get the SSB.

otherwise, i only had one myself, and it was a waste of money.

And only 10% of drivers even use a CB. Is there a standard channel & USB/LSB similiar to a long-range Ch 19?

I'm not sure I buy a percentage that low (10%). Where does that number come from?

Hogwash. Cell phone is limited. Any trucker without a CB is an amateur

    I have 4 CB Radios.
    I think it's a good start.
I may be a Pro one day.
