Dude, you may not like what I am going to say ... so ... so what.

YOU have nothing other than the conviction and the expectation of $700 a week to worry about. Lower the expectation and be patient about moving the income rate up.

Get off your butt and apply to every company you can find.

When you face the app with no work history, put nothing down other than "unemployed due to family obligations" -- with dates. If they call you back, they will ask you about it and as long as it is legit, they will ask you to document it through an affidavit.

The thing that you are being trapped by is the idea that there has to be a company that you need to apply to when you just need to apply.

Don't worry about any call backs, don't worry if they say no, the time you waste sitting here trying to find answers, you could have applied to five or six companies. I don't say this much but I applied to a lot of companies and even with experience I got one call back for every 10 apps.

By the way, get rid of the "I'm not proud to be a stay home dad" you should be **** proud of that ability, think about how many kids don't even see their dad let alone have one at home for them.

But you weren't a stay at home dad you were a Marijuana dealer. And a drug charge that's only 3 years old you probably have a hard time.

Western Express is famous for giving people second chances. They might be worth a shot.

Good for you for staying home with your kids, so stop complaining that you had to or blaming her for it. If you take pride in that important job, then others will value your work more highly.

And,waaaah about getting caught for growing pot. I figure you were about 24 when you got caught, plenty old enough to know better. Being less defensive and more contrite will show potential employers you have changed and grown up fnally. If you really have, then I wish you luck on your job search. I'm sure there are lots of things all of us have done in the past but better to admit it and move on rather than find excuses.

Keep your head up Red Wide Glide. You might have to take a low paying position because of your past, but once you have a year experience under your belt it'll be less about your past, and more about your experience when you decide to move on to another company.

Try Paschall Truck Lines; ignore the bad reviews on here; it's a pretty good company. Jrdude5 is correct.

Here's some more so go for it; anything to get started in your new career:

Paschall would be my first choice.
    Western Express
    Comet Transportation - Harvey, IL

Do online applications before any phone calls; this gives them something to look at.
