4 hours of sleep last night and up at midnight for a 2 hour drive to drop and hook. Mentor issues a challenge challenge accepted almost had it then wrong brain made me turn wrong. Needed a pullup. Would of had it perfect(ok close enough for me). Had to buy him a coffee. A quick 3 hour drive to menasha for hometime. Pretty good 12 days out 81 hours in 12 days and I didn't drive 2 of them. Mentor says if we stay on the toro run I will be close in 3 to 4 weeks. Watching the kids play at mcdonalds while waiting to finish 18 mile jog. Miss hearing them laugh. Oh yea nailed the second backin at the terminal my mentor bought me some free coffee. Didn't matter good set up no dumb turns that didn't need to happen. Good way to end the morning. Every have a good couple of days I know I will honeydo list in huge

Back on the road this morning. Let the madness start again. Ran 548 miles today. Looks like they are going to run us hard and my mentor is giving me most of the hours. Run me out and he will do the average so he can keep running and I will need a 34 reset probably around mondayish. Works for me. Backing went ok today. If I have to squeeze it inbetween trailers or blindside back usually not a problem. Give me and open area and I struggle. Only my 13th day on the truck can't beat myself up. Not very exciting maybe I just need sleep

The anniversary board is to the left of dispatch window IIRC, or was it down stairs?

Who knew that if you are a little off backing in a tight spot pull ahaead even a foot to see trailer helps. I did but forgot when I was backing up. Quick what are you doing wrong from mentor and figured it out. Oh well get to run from lincoln nebraska to wyndom mi today so another full day of driving to a usually empty lot to leave trailer and once again my nemesis open areas. Good practice though. On a sad note talked to a another student who was on his 5th week had 120 hours in and 12 backups done. He asked how I was doing and I felt bad telling him though he was going to explode. He had 2 bad trainers before last guy. Hope he makes it. Am I glad my trainer didn't take a week off. More later live load is done

Sitting in walcott ia at the worlds largest truckstop waiting for a shower. 102 hours in with another 11 today most likely. Got my first taste of the log police this morning. Got slapped with a verbal warning that will be removed because that was when my 50 was in and we could run teams. My mentor called his DM when my 50 was upand it was documented. Either way I wasn't wrong. Heading back to nebraska to minnesota run again then back to wisconsin. Shound need a 34 sat and sun so I can run from indy to st louis then start the leg back to minnesota. Shower time got to run

Rug iam sure he would thank me to but all I smell is smoke but I am a non smoker and he is a chain smoker. But I used to smoke for many years so it doesn't bother me at least he rolls down the window. Here in the midwest it has beeen raining and cold but running west to nebraska today the sun came out and the temps said 70. Hope that stays. Today thoughin nebraska I must be getting better iwas able to pull in send the goal message and back in 90 degree before my mentor woke up I thought but he said he watched from the window. Small pullup to get straight and got a atta boy for the back up. Apparently my thick skull can absorb the knowledge he is giving me. Another 648 miles in the book. Must be why he buys me food. I really like this toro run. Too bad it isn't for solo drivers. I hope they still put me on GLR when my training is over. I would love a little more home time with the family. Enough babbling time for sleep.

Sitting in tomah wisconsin waiting for trailer number so we can head to indy. With what I have in today I would have 120 hours in 14 days. I can only drive until 7pm tonight because of the 34 hour reset so I can be ready monday morning for indy to st louis to windom minnesota. It is hard to sit waiting when the clock is ticking but it is defiently something I have to get used to. On a different note mt mentor might ask for GLR run after our next hometime to see if he likes it. He needs to be home weekends for the next month or so I could get my feet wet that way also. I should be about 50 to 60 hours short after this next week. Knock on wood nothing bad happens.

Happy easter to everyone. I got to see my kids with their baaskets and eggs on video this morning. Bummer but necessary evil. 124 hours down with a 34 hour reset can't drive until monday morning am. Then we will hit it hard. Shold be able to get close to 60 hours this week before sundays hometime. Shold be able to finish in two weeks minus nothing bad happening. Bored as hell though just sitting here watching. After shower in a hour or so I think I will settle into a dvd. Talk at you tomorrow
