Starting out for rookies

    Well I'm off to start a new career in trucking, going to TDDS in Youngstown Ohio for school on the 28th of jan, any word on how its measures up, thank God the VA is paying for this one ($5600)

    And does any one know of a decent company that has apu's not those bunk heaters( ex mechanic with lots of bad luck with them), I'd rather have an apu if possible

    You might check out Prime out of Springfield, MO, they have apu's on the company trucks. They also have the lightbody trucks that are a lot smaller inside than the usual full truck. They can carry more weight and emphasis is on fuel mileage also. It pays a few more cents to drive them, not sure what the starting pay is for newbies.
