As a former fleet owner; trucks are the least of the problems. o_O

Yeah, I was fully relating to what you said just like any other trucker who's been doing this long enough and has some skin in the game

We get these same type of "hey I want to buy a truck and haul freight" at least 50 times a week. Let's ignore the simple fact that you chose to do no research of your own and expected others to just give you all the answers and focus on something more important.

You want to start a business that competes with myself, and many others on this forum. And you want us to help you get it started!? Would you walk into pizza hut and tell the owner you want to open a new pizza store next door to him and expect him ti help you get it started? This is what you are doing right now.

Wait ... a company that hired drivers?

You're not going to drive the truck?

Let's see, buy truck, lease it it a company, let the company do all the work, and watch the millions of dollars flood into my bank account.
Is that the way trucking works????

I’ve got a better idea look around find a small trucking company that’s making money ,the owners is getting older he wants to get out he’s pulled all his hair out by now he can’t find a decent driver and buy his company.
Then offer him an ungodly amount of money to stick around for another year or so and teach you the ropes until you get your feet wet!

    Doealex and Cabinover101 Thank this.
