I knew where you were as soon as you said Cheshire Lol. Went there once and never again. Same with P&G shippensburg don't ever go there Joe
Just two. I had a guy out of Kansas City. He quit with no notice. Brought me the truck, nothing crazy. I spent 6 weeks trying to find a driver, great pay, benefits, everything. I couldn’t get anybody. I got a decent amount of applications but were either not qualified or wanted to get home every week on Friday. I sold the Volvo and the trailer. My other guy lives in Arkansas, still rolling.
This month ended very nice. This is the first full month of me running these LTL loads with lots of drops. This broker has me making 1-4 picks, come to the cross dock, take it all off, and reload me with 8-12 drops. Numbers are 33,445 revenue, 8374 total miles, 3.99/mi on all miles, only 9% DH. Mainly OH and Eastward miles. The only time I’m West of OH is when I’m going home or leaving home. The load I’m making picks for right now will be the load that ends my month.
July is over and was another good month. This was a new record of 35k gross revenue. 35k revenue, 9296 total miles, 3.76/mi all miles, 18% DH. It was a good month for fuel mileage too. 9.2 mpg for July. I post a lot in the 9+ mpg club on Facebook about the A26. I usually make an update every 7-10 days.
I was wondering the same thing. Always enjoyed the updates but sure it gets hard to keep up. Hopefully all is well.
Yep, let us know! You have always really dig into the nitty gritty equipment, rate, and where to run wise. I’ve been wondering about you time to time as well.
Yes, would like an update on how that fancy dancy refer is holding up. Also that A26 should be plumb slap wore out according to all the hatters?
