I like big size (XXL) dogs, which would match my size. LOL I am thinking about getting myself a Great Dane. Is it a good idea to take a Great Dane on a trip as a companion?
I'm not criticizing Misesian at all but I would've done the same thing your buddy did. My dog will not hurt anyone or anything being in the truck. Heck, he's cleaner than most drivers that go in those places.
150k cargo plus reefer breakdown. I have ORBCOMM installed on my reefer should that situation come up. Tracks my temperature and location and allows me to download the profile in a few minutes.
Just to clarify, I called the Uber and rode over there myself to drop her off and again to pick her up.
This is off the app. If I log into their site and do it there it's much more detailed and you can zoom in or narrow it down to specific rather than by day on the app.
The shipping manager there told me that policy is not an Ingredion policy but one made by their current safety director for two facilities in the Indy area. Their safety director was bitten by a drivers dog sometime back and since then she made the policy of no dogs period. Should have kept her hands to herself if you ask me. Mine isn't like that, she thinks everyone is her friend, unless it's the cold storage guys in their puffy suits; she doesn't like those.
That's cool. Just to clarify, I wasn't knocking you for doing what you did. I'm in no place to judge anyone for any thing they do. And as someone alluded to, thank you for this thread as it does give us an inside look to the refer market for a guy with his own numbers.
