I will tell you that having a big dog is both great and a pain. It will add probably 2 hours to your day - getting them fed and "watered" and stops during the day.
And no flying home ...
Zoe has done well when stay in a hotel.TallJoe Thanks this. -

I was going to deadhead I. The short distance home but a broker called me about a short run he had today delivers two stops Sunday also ending within 100 miles of home. I factored in my deadhead to get in for days off and all miles it pays 2.88 a mile 875 bucks for half a days work. My go to guy in Town called me and has me a load Tuesday afternoon once my reset is up to 2 stops in OK final in Tulsa that pays 2.77 all miles on 477 total miles ending Wednesday mid day with goal of getting back to Rogers, AR and grabbing another to get in, preferably, by Friday. My rate per mile is great this month so I'm focusing on meeting my revenue target right now.

Again with the cheap rates. I have a really good load to NC picking tomorrow but everything is so cheap over there. I made dozens of phone calls and finally TQL saved the day with a healthy rate out of there to Columbus, OH for Monday morning. Lots of postings were only paying 1.25 to 1.45 out of there, some were closer to 1.00 a mile, but TQL hooked me up for 2.55 all miles. I already have a reload Monday with a guy I've used before and it puts me in a really good position for one of those milk loads I do to NJ that pay really well. This could be my biggest month yet. TQL is very consistent in keeping me moving at a good rate when I need it. I use them the most and I have 3 smaller brokers I work with outside of that, and they make up the majority of loads I pull.
