Never trust the company you dedicate yourself too. On Jan 3 my awesome safety director called to check on me (saying he didn't know I was out sick). Also to tell me I no longer have a job. With that being said my insurance was cancelled. I was told cobra information would be mailed within 30 days. Until then I have nothing. And I'm to weak to call about insurance. You're health insurance is still active for 30 days it is not canceled the day you are fired or quit a job
I would certainly search out your and his legal grounds. Now this is going to involve contacting a lawyer who specializes in "wrongful termination". You mentioned "dedication" in your post. That human trait was buried years ago. I am sure that there are good decent employers still left in this world, where they are at, #### if I know.--LOL
