I have had my fair share of getting stuck after parking for the night in fresh snow or even a rest stop with packed snow.

Biggest thing to do is after the truck has been parked for 10-15min move it out of the holes the warm tires have melted into the ground.

I have 2 sets of tripples on my truck at all times, if I get stuck use one tire chain to get enough traction to pull me out and if that does not work keep trying adding more chains on.

Can also unpin the trailer and pull away a tad from it and back up into the pin again to free the trailer. Be advised have to be real careful doing this one or more than a tow truck will need to be called :)

Up here a tow truck is not an easy call so always forced to get out of being stuck on my own
