Stuck at Western Express after orientation - NO TRUCKS!

It's really not.

 

Trainer salary stays with trainer strictly a fixed pay minus withholding etc.

Trainee has his own pay.

Teaming has no effect on earnings of trainee or trainer. That money still rolls the same weekly.

What teaming does do is destroy the potential for teaching, as a nanny minds a kindergarden.

Seems like the type of person that would jump ship halfway thru training if they hear of another company paying a little more lol

 

This entire post is conflicting. The individual is shy, but apparently knows the whereabouts of the other 7 individuals. Companies don’t just change the pay of their employees on a daily basis.i just don’t like these posts

 

They probably just didn't have as many people quit this week than they usually expect to. Give it a few days and enough will quit to free up some trucks.

My husband hired on, yes, his own stupidity, to a company with a bad reputation based on all the pages in all of MANY threads in this forum after waiting around for a truck, watching others do the same. Not a shy person... one who had not been successful, quick enough for him anyway, in getting a regional dry van position. Lacks confidence; not shy.

Since WE shuffled folks from room to room as a driver left, AND because he had other people in his orientation class... and yes, by cracky those folks talked when #### got to seeming real odd.

When a company will not explain things to you and keeps giving one piece of untrue information after another AND they have that reputation leaving is simply self-preservation. This is the only company he went to orientation with and had that experience. He needs to make a living, not hear the okey-doke.
