Since you have internet where you are why not research some shops besides the dealer, someone in the area may have a repair shop and the gasket.

Wish I'd found this thread earlier, I came by there yesterday. Could have got your water pump fixed up for you.

Checked the distance to the Corn Binder dealership, about 15 miles away. Wonder if you could hitch a ride from someone over to get the gasket?

Taxi cab ! I use one in Houston once to get to a doctor. it was expensive, but worth every penny and the guy gave me his cell phone and came back to get me when I was done. I was really sick with pig flu he also took me to a pharmacy for the drugs.

Heck, black or red RTV sealer will work fine as a gasket. You can also pick up gasket material at any parts store and make one. I usually lay it on the sealing surface and tap with a ball-peen hammer to 'cut' the shape out. You've got plenty of time - pick up a cheap socket / wrench set if you don't have tools and get to work!

my experience is that places that advertise on the internet are NEVER the cheapest, and typically rip you off
    www.nttsbreakdown.com

i am not saying thats a rule, but unless i am stuck in the middle of nowhere, the internet is the last place i turn

found me some cheap tires east of fort wayne at some dumpy truckstop at the very edge of 30, the nearest internet place wanted 3times the price
