In Colorado a temporary paper form is issued and the hard copy is mailed to you. I think it is so they can do additional background checks.

The Hard copy license is Mailed to the adress on your CDL.. so, your Home Address.. I don't know enough of the DOT regs on this sistuation.. but, You could do some calling around and research and find out.. cause if it is within the Regs then you may come up against it again with another company.. and if it is not then you most certainly do have a case.. and can use that to maybe get them to write off the cost of schooling,...

But as everyone else has stated.. your CDL is yours... it took about 3 weeks for mine to arrive..

It makes you wonder about being truthful to these clowns. You're a cancer survivor so this wingnut doc assumes you have heart damage. How the heck does he know?? Doesn't say much about cancer treatments then does it ?? That's the trouble with these doctors. I've given up on them a long time ago. All we are to them are cattle. They make some off the wall assumption and that's it? Why do we have to put up with this nonsense. No personal attention, nothing. Kudos to you, young man for battling through cancer and winning. Only to be jacked around by a stupid company doctor.

Good luck to you. The next company will be glad to have you.
