Mark I remember now I've also had a few errors pop up, I can't remember what they said they were not the navi.exe error but rather something like "this application has encountered an error"

I also bought another one due to going way out of my element and it seems perfectly fine but i will give it a few days. Even reused the same cord. The one that I defective is still under warranty if I get it fixed I will just give it to my dad.

The newer ones the GPS receivers are a little more sensitive. Please check around and if the GPS does the same out of the truck contact RM Support to let them know the GPS receiver is going out on yours.

    Thanks,
    Mark

That error is software and usually happens when you have a corrupt file on your TND. Getting "fresh" files from the Dock usually fixes it. Meaning to delete the Cache folder and hitting update again.

    Thanks,

That will not affect the routing difference I see in yours. What are your Truck Info and Preferences/Route settings?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Question about reporting incorrect info. RM 520 had a report wrong speed limit button or setting, RM 760 did not seem to have this option ? I was wondering about having an option to report incorrect routing , maybe current traffic info ?

you can adjust the rand mcnally eta -- mine is set on the slowest setting which is reasonable for a 55mph truck in the mountains...

Deleting my answer on this one so as not to drift its intended topic.
