Will have to check the 510 as I have not used it in a while but I know it was pre 3790 because of the roll back to avoid the lag issue that got sorted since.

    530 has latest maps & on 3790.

Also noticed a weird bug on the 530 today as I was plotting my arrival times into city areas; whatever time zone my next stop was in that I had put in front of my destination in Hatfield,MA was what my final arrival time was listed as.

    Example:
first stop pilot merriotville/Slaterville,UT (Mountain Time)
Last stop c&s grocers Hatfield,MA (Eastern Time)

Arrival time for total trip shown based on Mountain time instead of eastern time despite correctly calculating trip miles & hours. -2hrs

When inputting just the MA stop without any others in different time zones in front despite exact same route calculation, would show proper Eastern time zone arrival time.

When adding the flying J in Des Moines,IA as first stop then Hatfield,MA as final, total trip arrival was in Central time. -1hr

This was also after waiting for full trip calculation to finish where summery map overview, trip summery, highway view, & detail view had no rotating blue progress icons.

I have noticed this in the past on Pre-3790 versions but it used to 'snap' to the correct timezone arrival time usually by the end of full calculation. Snap as in the arrival time was the only thing on screen that changed.

Tried rebooting unit with calculation stored & resuming on reboot & then would give correct timezone immediately.

Have done the erase cache & redownload core files procedure off a good wifi connection after 3790 update & have no crashes or other major things just minor weird incidents like these that are so subtle I hardly notice.

ETA calculation set on "Add more time" if that makes a difference.

If you press the reset button on the 730 will it boot up or still showing system file miss?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Sound like one of the critical files are missing. I can remote in to your computer to fix the dock and update the 730. I will be available about 9pm estate. I use TeamViewer

    Thanks,
    Mark

Crazy enough it just fixed.... I went and cleaned out temp files on laptop then tried again still nothing... then opened up dock without it plugged in ...went to repair then plugged it in and it started working so I pushed it away from me so I wouldn't accidently touch it....... after it finished it was back to normal... I'm ecstatic.... thank you soo much for your prompt response... you are saving butts out here

By GATS, are you talking about the truck show/convention in Dallas?

Just got my 710 back from Skokie today. They were supposed to fix the software issues with it, but apparently did nothing. It came back with a replacement SD card, and my SD card taped to the back. When I attempted to boot it up with the card they left in it, I got the "System Files Missing" screen. So, I tried booting it with my card. It did boot, but got a pop-up for services.ini not working. So, I guess I'm stuck with one very expensive paper weight. RM has lost my business for good.

Interesting.. never seen the services.ini error before. Did you look at the SD Card to see what folders/files are on it?

    Thanks,
    Mark
