I live about 60 miles south of Tuscaloosa. Several years ago there was supposed to be something like a 15 foot gator near Meridian/Toomsuba, MS area, stretched across Hwy 59.

And there you have it. This gator could be a distant relative. Decent amount of swampland along I-59 between Tuscaloosa and Meridian.

Well to a fault Orlando Executive Airport sits next to two lakes that are infested with alligators.
Interesting footnote:Orlando International Airport on the outskirts of the city literally has ponds there stocked with alligators as a natural security deterrent(note the absence of chain link fences around the ramp and gate areas).Reportedly in one of those ponds they have a 13 footer named "Samsonite" in there.

Big Don and NavigatorWife Thank this.
