Surprised at Prime Lease Purchase

Must of missed something......

Texasmorrell you pulled the trigger and leased/purchased a new truck with prime .?



I was wrong guess they will do a lease/purchase with $100 balloon at the end..... who knew...

 

Something tells me there will be another lawsuit around the corner. Right, wrong, or indifferent it should make for another fascinating ride.

 

Well it's been nar a week. How much was made? $2000? $3000?

 

Accidentally wrote this out and posted on the wrong thread (another Prime thread). Relevant here though:

I was a company driver at Prime for 2 years before going local. On the company side I ran flatbed then switched to tanker. I did well and was happy, they treated me pretty good. I never went lease nor had the desire to do so. I do remember a lot of the lease guys berating company drivers calling us slaves and talking about how much money they made and how far superior they were because they were doing a rent to own on a truck. To hear a lot of them tell it they were easily knocking down 5-10 grand a week lol. I would just smile, roll my eyes and move on. Just my 2 cents worth.

 

I lease with Prime and I considered doing a l/p. I looked into it and it's not a bad way to buy a truck if you're confident you want to stay with Prime for 3 years. That's the kicker.

 

It's been over a week. I figured that $2800 net settlement would have been posted by now.

 

Down in Cancun again?
