I'm trying to get onto that trade show gig, but when they found out I don't have a passport, they've been dragging their feet. My DM keeps pestering, but they won't say whether I'm in or not.
I'm willing to get one, just gotta get home to do it. I'm told it starts next week, but won't go into Canada until December. I would think that would be plenty of time.
Usually only takes about 30 days. But it can take up to 90. I don't even know what the procedure is anymore. I has to be more complicated than when I got mine last time....uh...20 years ago.
I run target dedicated they prefer teams but a lot of newbies get trained here a few company drivers and a couple solos
What is the potential earnings for a 1st year driver whether it's on a dedicated account, over the road or regional. Thanks
I'm a trainee on a dedicated dollar tree here in the southeast and mentor said newbs get the same pay starting out at .34 a mile-almost always some openings for them and dollar general-hard hot work but home on the weekends-swift has a lot of different opportunities good and not so good you have to find the one that works for you and keep a good attitude.
You can download the application from the web, and fill it out. Then, you should be able to go down to the DMV and get your picture taken and get it sent in with your app. That is how I got my passport card this year. If you are willing to pay a few extra $$$ you can get your application expedited, and it only takes a few weeks. If you don't plan on using a passport for travel by air, the gov offers a passport card that can be used for travel by land or sea. It is less expensive than getting a passport, and works just fine for us truckers hauling freight into Canada.
