Well done, Sabri! It's nice to hear a success story every so often. Sounds like yours is one of them.

I'm on sears dedicated, and I love it! Couldn't ask for a better DM. He's awesome! :biggrin_25514: Love the $150 a day when it's a short run.

All these positive reports about dedicated runs make me rethink my original aversion to it. I don't care so much about the money or hometime, but the stability that I'm reading does.

My son is a new Swifty,he just got his truck yesterday. His DM put him on a dedicated account forB@G,I think that means Bell and Gossett, running out of the Auburn NY factory. He will mostly be running Connecticut,NJ,Pa and NY state(no NYC)His pay is 44 CPM loaded or empty. He was surprised because he thought they were putting him on 48 states. He probably will be home every week as this is regional,we live in NJ.I will let you know how he likes it after he's been doing it for a few weeks.

My Bad! It's not B@G,it's P@G,he misunderstood the DM when he called. So he's running for Proctor and Gamble out of Stamford Connecticut. When they asked him what he wanted to run he requested regional dedicated, and was pleasantly surprised when he got it right away. He's running mostly nights to avoid the traffic congestion in this area, can be bumper to bumper during peak hours, not so bad at night.Oh and his Mentor gets 1 cent per mile of his pay for 6 months so it's 43 cpm. They told him he can do his 34 hour reset at home if he's close enough. He's running Rt 80 a lot which is 1 mile away from our house.

If you think solo dedicated is stable and do not care as much about home time or pay then try team driving with a good hand. Stable, good pay and home time possible if you are within 150 miles or so from the same home terminal. Ran that set up for a while before I came off the road running doubles Austin/Atlanta/Salt Lake/Sacramento/Dallas/Austin and then 53 box from Dallas area to LA. Great times home every week.:biggrin_25519:

I'm about an hour south of Wilkes-Barre. If you did move to PA, where did you end up?

The only problem with team driving is having another person in the cab. Like many others, I want to get into this for the solitude. I was married for almost 30 years to one roommate and have been alone for 15+ years. I like my company.
