If I miss a fuel stop then I will need to call my DM when I do stop for fuel.
He will then re-optimize my fuel route based on where I am.
I am sent a new fuel route, usually with the truck stop I am at for fuel.

 

Does Swift offer fuel bonuses if not do they offer any bonuses other than sign on ones ?

 

We only have one bonus for performance, paid quarterly.
It is based on miles driven, on time ratio and number of accidents. (Calculated weekly on a rolling one year average.)

There are 5 levels... Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
Bronze pays .5 cpm on all miles during the previous quarter.
Silver pays 1 cpm, Gold 4, Platinum 5.

Diamond gets 7 cpm (I think). Diamond drivers get the big Diamond logo on the truck and the option to get a new truck each year.
You reach Diamond status after 36 consecutive months as Platinum.

Sounds like my experience in the Navy … needed to keep out of trouble for 4 consecutive years for a Good Conduct Ribbon … eight years and never got one.

 

Do they tell you how much fuel you can buy at each fuel stop ...?

We just fill the tanks. lol
