do not run the costco dedicated i wanted to quit after the first trip but stayed on it a week. every load runs up i95 across the cross bronx expy where you sit in traffic. then you hit ct and sit in traffic. get another 30 min up the road and sit in traffic. all the way to final sit in traffic. long story short a 300 mile trip took 12 hours. And they are mostly scheduled to put you through rush hour traffic. and to top it all off i was making the same milage pay as i did running NE Regional out of syracuse where i was getting 2200 miles a week. Now i am mentoring still getting NE Regional pay but running OTR. My OTR pay was 2 cents higher than i am getting on NE Regional pay but since i am still classified as regional i can go home after 6 days if i want. Also when i run regional my DM usually gives me 2 days off for 6 days out. A couple times i got 4 days off after 6 days out because extended coverage gave me the option so they didnt have to deal with one more truck
Swift Northeast Regional? Is there such a thing?
