    I'm in a 2014 Prostar Eagle.

There is a white and green wire that looks like it was clipped in the wire cluster behind the cb mounting box but other than that there isn't a 12v socket for power back there. My other Prostar had a 12 outlet back there (never worked). There should be an easier way to wire this without having to run the cb wire across the front and down.

Yeah my 6th gear is supposed to be down and to the left. When I try to shift into it, splitter up, or even downshift into it it grinds bad like I'm trying to shift into a very low gear. Its weird. But I can definitely tell I'm doing something wrong because 5th to 7th is too big of a jump. I'll keep messing around with it.

Tie the red wire from the cb to the green wire and the black to the white. That should power the cb.

Thanks. I'll give it a shot. Beats having that cord hanging down.

On a related note I finally have normal cb reception with this truck. Not sure why. My old truck had a range of about 1/4 mile.

That's disappointing. I prefer blasting my message out at maximum decibels.... :D

Me too. Now I'm picking up cb chatter from who knows where. Its been so long since I've had range that I'm confusing the new long range chatter with the voices in my head.

Still sitting here in Tulsa. They gave me a few pp's and when I checked on windows there wasn't one. Planner I'm corresponding with is checking on loads. The only one they have at the moment is 140 miles delivering live unload tomorrow morning. This sucks. I have about 500 miles of deadhead in the past 7 days with 187 miles of deadhead on Saturday bringing me here to where I sit.

I've been debating switching terminal to Idaho lately. My buddy and Swift academy classmate switched from Sumner to Idaho a while ago and has consistently had great miles since. Plus he gets reports showing how well he is doing, his stats etc. Also I guess he was told about getting paid for vacation time for his hometime or something like that. Last I heard about vacation time was when I first started. Or I read about it back then. Do we get vacation time???!!!??

Anyway I called this fleet manager in Idaho just to inquire and immediately she pulled up my driver info. She said they would love to have me. My RA score is now down to -3. Great news. My buddy was telling me that the Idaho terminal is ranked 3 overall and that it used to be ranked #1. They are competitive. Not sure about Sumners ranking.

I'm on the fence. I know if I want to switch I have to talk to my DM first and let him know. Not sure if its the right thing to do. I believe he works hard in my favor. He gets me detention and breakdown pay when he can and he is decent on me taking 4 days at a time for hometime. Never complains about my excessive idle time and I have a lot of it - I never hear a thing about it.

The problem I guess is my miles. I've been trying to accept nearly everything but I barely hit silver status before dropping back to bronze. I still aim for platinum but it seems so far out. My miles have been as low as 1700/week recently. Staying out for 6-8 weeks at a time between home times is not helping either. Not sure what to do at this point. Also I kind of worry if it would reflect poorly on my current DM. Don't want that happening either. Don't want to offend or insult him in any way.

Just got a double header I'm going to run. Tulsa to Houston and then another from Houston area up to Neely's.

And you will get a load out of Neely's ... Don't company drivers get paid the same for DH as loaded?

    DocWatson Thanks this.

I don't think so. I had payroll try to explain it today and I am more confused now.
