There's no valid excuse for the way they drive. Speeding through construction zones, speeding on ice and snow, speeding during rain. It seems to be in their culture. Years ago Prime was that way until the feds clipped their wings. Prime trucks ran 75+mph at that time.

Yes company policy (as far as i know t/t only though but i guess not ) In truck camera recorded it. Requested full dac and talked with customer service and they didn't even report I work for them from the paper I got. I heard about the court case with hire right and got the mail for class action lawsuit also ao idk i could be wrong. A couple companies I talked to offered a job but paid 1099 so I run away. Andrus paid too low ,western merchandise express had touch freight with no extra pay for it, Milton truck lines and interstate wouldn't touch til 6month clean driving.
Lol I thinks safety guy felt disrespected since I didn't know who he was and I refered to him as safety manager but he is district safety director.
I was with the company two month got along with dispatch and he for me but hey no matter it's a spilled milk.

    A uturn in a bobtail.

Which prima donna suit did you do this in front of? Im thinking it's a company yard.

Get yourself to a unemployment and file, but move on. Ive spun bobtails sooo much.. in fact, I consider myself a outrageous original drifter during winter when I take a bobtail to a lot (Like a really agile and FUN F9000 daycab ford) and spin her dougnuts, figure 8 drifting on pure ice. Take about a acre of space to do it right.

I wished I could have done that after the bossman fired me sometimes, see if the ####### drops from a heart attack (Serves his cheap ### right...)

Seriously those icecapades on bobtailing served a very serious life saving purpose for me and saved our lives and others in the future when our rigs got loose on ice for real... That is about the worst violation I have ever done regularly in bobtailing.

For you to get fired... doing a U turn? something else is the bottom of the story, it should come out when you have the conference call with state judge during the unemployment filing under oath by phone.

That's harsh. Are they that bad company wide or does it depend on the terminal?
Must have been fun.. trucks have camera and it triggered an event when I turned hence it recorded and saved it. I basically missed a turn to customer long driveway entrance ( Vegas tjmaxx entrance) so flipped a u soon as I passed it no traffic, no center divider and no u-turn sign. Im waiting to hear from unemployment, got an interview scheduled. If I get in with FedEx I will cancel unemployment.

Hell I must have done the same thing a thousand times... in a variety of places... for a variety of innocent and virtuous reasons. That sort of thing makes me worry that we are what was that Movie? Judge Dredd where you are fined for making bad words with your mouth? OY

    Convincing wife is a challenge.

Mine loved to travel wanted to see the USA she says, wanted to escape the two hour lunches in the Fed Employ she says, wanted to sample the nation's food offerings she says, Im always gone she says... uh oh.

Come on then wife, let's get you to school, then we kick it your road test and oriention and I'll make a team driver out of you.

Everything fell into place. What a glorious year. Some of the very best in trucking as far as Im concerned when we learned teamwork in every way. However.

She started gaining weight. Decided to stop after 9-11 on war fears because I explained to her at the time when I ran Korean war freight south from the depots to ports without a log book in sight in 1994 summer before dear leader had a heart attack. Those were black times. She decided to go home and made sure that I too came back home as well to learn something else maybe in college.

I did not know then that year after 9-11 certain serious medical situations brewing inside of me and her. But it was a good thing we did stop when we did. Took a few years fighting cancer, blindness, infections dental issues etc. All built up with 30 years hard work and no care.
