I don't think they lease those old punkins, it's cash only. Sometimes they will have some 07-08 trucks for lease, but not very often. Just keep looking and some should pop up

Got a chance to meet sadwar today before I left Carlisle, was nice to finally meet you in person buddy! After that fueled up and headed south for my delivery in VA. Got there, no empties, so I sent in a message telling them I was just going to bobtail down to Greensboro NC and check our drop yard there for an empty. Got to the drop yard, found 2 empties. Both older, so first hooked to the newer of the two, this one seemed OK so I sent in a message (again) asking them to add a task to my workflow so I can show the empty pickup. It had some electrical tape around one of the airlines, it was odd. So I released the trailer brakes and smacked the trolley valve all the way down and no leaks. Ok good enough. So, me being me, has to move the trailer 18 feet from where it is parked so I am stopped in the same spot that I am always stopped at, for absolutely no other reason that that is my parking spot that I always park at. Yes, I am an odd one. Don't judge me.

So as I'm circling around to back into this spot... PSSSHSHHTHSHSHHSHSHTHT as the air line rips open again. I glance down at my gauges and the air pressure is dropping pretty fast, so I throw it in reverse and ram the trailer back towards the fence before I lose too much air and.... yeah that trailer is not gonna work.

So I go over to the other trailer, check it out too, old but whatever, its a trailer, about to hook to it when I see a plastic baggie on the gladhand. No idea why, but its obviously there for SOME kind of a reason, probably to say "ITS BROKE".

So, I send another message in saying "yeah nevermind that trailer I picked up is no good, gonna look elsewhere" and off we go for the 5am rambo DFO trailer search. My first thought was my usual place that I go for empties, but then I remembered the other place I delivered to a few days ago had a couple trailers so I headed over there. Sure enough the trailer I took in a few days back is sitting outside the gate, doors open. Perfect. Hooked to that, back to the dropyard again. Parked it and sent in a message telling them where I picked up that trailer from and asking for the 18th billion time to update my workflow.

So, after my break I'll make my pickup tonight and should be in Carlisle on the 19th. No preassignments yet, might take a 34 and get my PM done if I can find a place up near Carlisle, or if I can find a decent load back south will grab that. Don't know yet, not in a hurry to make a decision.

They certainly wouldn't hang you from the gates at corporate - corporate doesn't have any gates. However there is a nice wooded area where naughty drivers are "retired" wink wink nudge nudge.

Does the EVO have air ride seats on both sides? Auto start, XM radio, in cab 5th wheel release etc? The 680 seams to have all the options including a tripak and fridge. Schneider Finance has new 2015 Evo's coming in soon and said they would hold a black one for me. Need some input from you allÂ… Thanks

I have a 2014 and it has air ride seats on both sides, but no sirius/xm built in I don't think[ I have my own receiver]. I lucked out on this one, it has the tripak evo thats pretty nice. No electric for me, it was diesel or nothing lol. Yeah those 680's are very nice. I looked inside one that a guy was getting and it has it all for sure. I'm not sure what the 2015 Evo's options are, but I think Tennman got a 2015.
