    Its 45 days from the end of contract not when they stop charging mma account. Well actually back in June.

    dude....have you made any phone calls to the adults in charge (Federal and state DOT) and asked them how folks move a truck from one place to another??

    There's got to be an easier way.....jus' sayin'.....man, they do it all the time.

    I'd just drive it home. It's not like your going to tag right away, because in nc only way to get a tag is to have insurance. So drive it home park it, and get back to work.

    Can't they just let you run it home with a set of their dealer plates? They don't have to ride with you. Just pay for postage to send it back to them since they are so far.

    I'm with Moose.....

    Here's what ya do, get ya a 12 pack, some chips / jerkey, a cupla them neeked girl mud flaps, fire that rascal up and launch.......chances are, you won't get caught. And if you do, tell 'em your buddies Moose and Dipschitt said it was ok...... you'll be fine, trust me...

    It's not plates that is the issue, its insurance. Nobody will do temp insurance. I'm all for driving without plates... do it all the time with my old army truck, no one has ever said a thing. But driving without insurance, that's a whole 'nother ball game. Especially if I ever got in an accident.
