By the way since you like comparing yourself to others. Some truckers actually do more then hold a steering wheel. They tarp, they mess with chains and binders, they mess with hoses. Some unload their own truck. Some load their truck. Dude somebody needs to knock you off your high horse, and I don't mind being the man for the job. You need to check yourself b4 you wreck yourself, and I bet when you do. One of these hard working, smelly truck drivers will be the first to lend you a hand. Even though I'm sure you won't except that hand without putting on your gloves. Ukkkk sorry some people just make me sick.

Throw away that old dirty shirt youre wearing. I figured my comment would offend you homeless looking trash men out there. I have worked tough outdoor jobs when I was younger and chose not to do so anymore.

Hi NewNashGuy, Don't be dismayed, I haven't been here too long, but Dinomite is clearly an agitator, and I guess the world needs agitators to keep the world in balance. I think it's great how you feel. And yes, it's easy to see people that don't care in this profession, as the people you deal with on a daily basis are usually unskilled, low paid warehouse workers that will quit at a moments notice, or will do a crummy job until they get fired and a new person of similar credibility moves in. I too gave 'er 110% all the time, the downside to that is, you burn yourself out, and after 30 years, it takes it's toll. Word of note, be glad you can leave those places with lazy warehouse workers, as it's really tough doing your job and someone else's, as well.

I am so hurt that you would call me an agitator. When anybody with good sense would know. That I am a smorgasbord of magically delicious poetic satirical comic relief. Please put that in your vocabulary. So you can address me properly Mr. Semi retired :)

Forgiveness please. I didn't say there was anything wrong with an agitator, but I've found people are so thin skinned nowadays, satirical humor is taken offensively. I too used to be the most "in your face" guy, all in good fun, and got into a lot of trouble, so I don't do that anymore. Don't change 1 bit, like I say, not sure what kind of world this would be without people like you, if you have the grapes for it, that is.:biggrin_25520:

Aw shucks, I'm just glad I can help. It's just good I can finally tell people about my 35 years of trucking, and hopefully they won't make the mistakes I made. Man, I'd have killed for a site like this back in the day, and I learned most of my stuff through trial and error, and talking to old-timers, and would have certainly stayed away from some things, that after I did them, found out, that won't work. I'm just a spoke in the big wheel here, and enjoy it a lot. Thanks all.:biggrin_25514:
