Makes sense. Sure made for some serious backup I was in line for over an hour. Easy money.

Both. Before to make sure there is no water in the tank. And after to make sure you didn't deliver water  I've heard stories about racks with 50% water contamination. If you delivered that and didn't stick the tank afterwards then potentially hundreds of vehicles could be ruined before they figured it out and closed the station down.

It's strange though Costco absolutely does not want anyone sticking their tanks even though they do huge volume and buy the cheapest gas they can find on any given day. They put a lot of faith in veeder root.

On diesel, we stick on our first drop. On gas we stick before and after.

Take your time, your the captain of the ship, don't let anyone tell you otherwise not dispatch nor driver. Double check and triple check if you have to, good luck and welcome to the club.

As far as I know, there is a Love's in Barstow as well.

I've been slingin' it for a little over a year now up here in Portland. Great gig.

Routine, routine, routine. You'll have it down to where you'll be a robot in no time. Good luck, and welcome to the club.
