Frankly I do NOT see any of that crap. For one, I drive at night, and two, I keep my eyes closed!

Sadly, nothing will ever change for the 4 wheelers, instead, some way, some how, things will get pushed onto the trucking industry.

So why do we have to deal with a buch of ads to see a relatively boring video that could have been embedded here? That's about the first and last time I follow a link from this forum. Talk about hot crappy.

I mean really, who doesn't know how obnoxiously they drive around trucks, including other truckers, half the time? I'm pretty sure unmarked police vehicles drive around taunting me in the middle of the night.

Anyway, that isn't trucking, it's someone else's personal problem. We've all had them, those hot crappy moments. I've hauled toilet paper too, so it's all good.

It is part of the job. But you know what? This should be sent out to news organizations. Instead of the almost daily "bad trucker" stories, maybe they can focus on the true danger of America's highways. Themselves.

Stupidity is part of the DNA in humans
you can't fix it. After 33 yrs of dealing with this crap I have no luck left and my professional attitude is thin, really thin. Just don't care anymore. I do not belong behind the wheel of any vehicle. One heart attack and heading for another or 3 years to go. It's not getting better.

As a local city driver I deal with that lunacy all day long, every day. It never ceases to amaze me the stupid exhibitions I witness.

Feeling the pain. Retirement never looked so good, unlike years ago, guys kept driving well past their 70's.

We had at this one company I worked at, a retired driver in his high 70's, finally he could not pass the eye exam, and this was a guy that worked early Saturday mornings, going from MA to NJ. He could barely walk, and had no strength to unhook or hell even back into the door. When He got back later in the day? He'd park the truck in the yard, someone had to do the rest.

To me, if you're going to do the job, then do it all the way, or no way at all.

Just like mandatory retirement at the state level of (I think 25 years) maybe that's the way it should be in trucking, or at the very least, 65, and you're out, as you'd be medically disqualified.
