I am sorry to hear about your misfortune. In this difficult economy, it is difficult to run a business. It really takes a reprehensible exhibition of incompetence to shock me, but your story fits that criteria. I am very upset to read such bad news.

They will take the load and dump the trailer, most likely. Mr.Write-off should be down at the employment office checking out available jobs. It would be cheaper to have no driver than him, possibly. Dropping a trailer in a high crime city like Gary is pretty stupid and irresponsible. I wonder if some one towed for illegal parking. Those folks gotta make their money. Good luck.

I hope for you they just towed it and the ld. and trl. are ok..

As for the drivers I think I would be looking for 2 new drivers.
Mr. tax write can go get his own tax write off.
Mr. too lazy to back track to secure yard can start looking for his own trl to lose.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hope everything works out for you on this. Sounds to me like you need 2 new drivers ASAP and these two need to start packing.

And the one that disobeyed you shouldn't have another job in trucking as far as I'm concerned unless its dispatching obviously he has no brain. Mark up his DAC and reason for termination should be stupity (moron left MY LOADED trailer in Gary IN and it was stolen enough said!)

Things will get better once you get a couple more good drivers. Just gotta be positive I guess. Have a flatbed to replace yours for the time being little older and a 96 wide but shed get you buy for a while if it doesn't sell tomorrow or Tuesday.

That would make my day if the trailer was just towed. I doubt I could get that lucky.

Mr. tax write off all ready had a truck, but lost it.. Imagine that!!! He tells me all the time how I should run my business.

If only there was profit in tax write offs. I tend to think a half assed driver would end up costing more than the empty truck. I don't know how you small fleet owners do it with the available driver pool out there.
