I would say my training experience is not the norm, but hasn't been much of anything. My trainer has not had a break in months father has passed on and is now dealing with a family matter that has kept me in a hotel majority of this week. Plus he is an owner op/dto driver so not sure I'm really learning the company way. I feel bad for the man but not sure why he took on a student for another month and half.

Just hoping things go better soon. Hate to request another and delay things more. Having previous exp coming in the gate feel there just using me to get max revenue out of truck while I'm in it.

Are you being paid while you are in the hotel? Recruiters are very unclear when I asked that question.

You get paid when your trainer takes time off.

Oh...redneck Tigger just got a new 2012 Volvo. I looked at them at the yard and they are very nice. He is a crappy driver and does not deserve a truck that nice, so...its just luck of the draw.

ISX Cummins in them volvos. They run like raped apes on the hills. I drove a prostar with an ISX. big smile on my face whenever a hotshot in a cascadia tried to pass me at the bottom of the hill, only to tuck in behind me and get smaller and smaller in the mirrors as we continued to climb(loaded). God, I miss my trainer's truck.
