I remember as a kid my mom would tell us if we didn't go outside and play, she could find us something do do in the house. Not.

But times were different. We could go cross busy U.S.40 in the East Bay to go to a park, unaccompanied at 7 years old. Couldn't send kids out like that today.

Would be gone all day and not a soul was worried about us. All was good as long as we didn’t get out clothes muddy playing in the creek.

I have no idea if it is my phone or what the problem is, but I would go to type something and all of a sudden I was way down on the screen. Try to correct it and it would just get worse.

Thanks for cleaning up after me.

I was raised on a ranch near Hyampom. We didn't have video games. Didn't have television either.
One thing you never ever did, more than once anyway, was come in the house and say "I'm bored." You'd be a lot of things after saying that and depending on who heard you and what chores there were. You'd be tired, sore, barb wire scarred, dirty, wet, and wore right down to nothing... but you wouldn't be bored.

From what I’ve been told, since I don’t drive actual miles anymore, then my opinion no longer counts. lol

    Nevermind… back to farm sim 22.. :)

Seriously though it’s like with anything, moderation is key. Along with priorities… His problem was x box, should have had a ps5. ;)

That stuff stung like a mutha, poison always did. Can’t believe that stuff was available all those years until they found out it did more harm than good. The name alone says it all, Mercury Chrome.

My Parents had an Iodine bottle with the cork stopper and glass wand . Skull and crossbones on the front of it. That stuff is how I learned how to dance.
