The more observant amongst you have probably noticed there is a "Thanks!" button on each post I'd like to encourage everyone to use this button. If someone helps you, take a second to say Thanks! Not just out of sheer politeness ... although that's important ... but thanking someone also earns them visual reputation with in the board There are many reasons to use the THANKS button, if a MOD, Expert, Veteran, or another member has helped you, use the THANKS button in the bottom right corner on every post. All you do is simply click the THANKS button on the member that has helped you. He / She receives no money for the THANKS, but it is just courteous to show to another member your gratitude... Heck I even give thanks to a polite post that I dont necessarily agree with but its obviously well thought out and gives a interesting twist to the discussion Even some of those one liners that just capture my thoughts on a thread, or just crack me up So many people help out in a wide spectrum of ways, a little pat on the back sure helps. Thanks Photo added, close up of thanks button Members will not see a 'Thank You' button until their post count is 2 or more.
For some reason, when I click on the "thanks" button, it disappears off my screen, but as you can tell by my stats, It appears that I have never "thanked" anyone! any idea what is wrong here? BTW, I am using my cell phone to acess your web site. any ideas?
Probably the cell phone. I have never tried that so I really couldn't say for sure but the thanks has always worked with several computers.
I would like to say thank you for some posts, but I do not have the "thank you" button that you describe. Can you help me get the thank you button or maybe tell me how to get the button? TIA for your help. hawlin' s wife WOW THE BUTTON JUST SHOWED UP
Hey, these forum folks don't mess around!! Another reason I use the "Thanks" button is that when I actually get out there I can go to my profile, find all posts I thanked someone for, and relearn stuff I probably forgot. Sometimes I thank a poster simply because of the enjoyment value of their post. Sometimes I'll just be reading along in a thread I'm not actively participating in, i.e., when I'm reading for educational purposes alone, and click in a thanks because I know I'll want to refer back to that post later down the road. These vets and newbies can save your aas. A quick click on the "thanks" button is a small price to pay to show gratitude.
There can be a few minutes where the thanks button is not visible in the first couple minutes after the post was made.
