Honestly the farm yards aren't even the worst ones. It's the little old chicken feed mills in Arkansas and Missouri and some of the elevators in Kansas that are the worst. Thinking George's in Springdale specifically, the front of the front hopper of my trailer would actually be in front of the trough their auger is in, missing the auger entirely by about 8 inches so dump on the floor and sweep it in when done. There are a few of the old all cement elevators in Kansas that have 11.5 foot high door openings so you back the trailer in and just barely get far enough in to get the front hopper under the spout. A few of them that I can actually drive in and out are barely wide enough to squeeze the mirrors through, I've had to choose a spot mirror to wreck a time or two.

I’m a fan of an EXHD truck as much as the next guy. The minute you go to adding hood length I’m out. Straight shaved monkey ### is exactly what they look like. Older guy in Joplin added 8 inches to a numbered 359. His truck and his money but I still puke just a little every time I see it. I’ve seen a couple 379 with a 3412 in them and you gotta stretch the hood to get her to go. I sorta see it there but don’t. Ago I’m in the no replacement for displacement camp but WTF you tryin to do with a 3412. And if your gonna do it for ####s sake move the cab and sleeper back do not lope the frame rails in two right behind the front springs. Add 1/2 your distance to the grill surround and half at the rear and it’s ugly still but not shaved monkey ### ugly.

My ideas of a good lookin unit is an EXHD Pete from 280 to 290 WB flat top bunk with stacks at 13’6. 20 inch square boxed bumper and what’s supposed to be chrome or polished be shiney not painted. Though I have seen painted tanks and visor work on the right colors.

Different taste make the world go round though I’ll say that.

Maybe if the hood sat level it might look somewhat okay.

Why would you do that to a numbered truck? You do that with something that started out a short hood with a banged up hood.
Paint where there's supposed to be polish is close to a felony.

That's sad. I'd slap that guy out of a sense of duty. Why would someone do something like that.....why. :(
