Good post Medman! Some really good tips!

I have mentioned this from time to time on other threads but it is handy to keep those dry erase markers with you. You can write directions, fuel stops, phone numbers, shift patterns etc... right on the windshield or little driver window. This keeps you fumbling around for a notepad and pen and keeps your eyes on the road. Easy to read at night too. Another good idea is to replace your reading light above your head in the drivers seat with a blue or red bulb. This allows you to keep it on at night so you can see in the cab without blinding you at night. Helps to keep you awake too! You can use that 5 gallon "trash" bucket along with trash bags and two 2x4's for an emergency "port a pooper" too! Every driver has been in that situation at least a handful of times. Especially if you are a buffet frequenter.

Wing it out the window as you are going down the interstate! Try to find a good moving target!

Or you could save it and throw it in the trash at the scalehouse!

I collect them. Whenever I see them on the sides of the road or in the trash bins i dig them out and stuff them under my bunk. Been doing so for the last few months. I sure hope crengland gives me a good reference when I turn in my truck.
