then show the LAW that states we MUST drive in the right lane.....

Otherwise if he (or any of us) are travelling at the speed limit or flow of traffic, this does not make us "slower traffic" and it is perfectly acceptable to drive the center lane.

It is about driving safely. And if putting your vehicle in the center lane so you are not an obstacle for traffic flow OR merging/exiting traffic, then it's a perfectly acceptable thing to do.

Constantly changing lanes is opening yourself up for an accident. Pick a lane and stay in it.

If I'm being passed on the right, it's because either traffic won't allow me to move right, or I'm traveling at the posted speed limit and others choose to ignore that speed limit. Again, if I'm traveling at the posted speed limit, or keeping a safe following distance from the vehicle in front of me, then I have every right to be in the center lane. And yes, if it's efficient for me, it makes it right for me. I own just as much of that road as anyone else does, and as long as my actions are legal and safe, then I'm free to choose any lane that I wish. Even if it's not the lane that YOU think I should be in. :)

I don't run the horse & buggy lane very often either. My trucks aren't neutered so unless I want to thread the needle because of the mega carrier nutted truck, I am either in the center, or god forbid in the hammer lane. My peeve is the governed truck doing 62 in a 65 that is in the hammer lane having a 10 mile long race with the 61 MPH truck in the center.

Proves my point. Using the right lane eliminates lane changes.

According to windsmith, he also has every right to use the center lanes.

Staying with the flow of traffic and staying in the center lane also prevents unneeded and dangerous lane changes.

Proves he is right as well.

YOUR point of view is just that . YOUR point of view. And as many of us view it as wrong as you view ours as wrong.

So now you are just being argumentative.

Never said it was wrong, just saying we shouldn't be "camping" in the center. You know the trucks we are always having to maneuver around?

IT all boils down to being considerate. If a faster moving truck is approaching you and you are in the middle lane,KINDLY move over and simply allow the faster driver to ease on. Not doing so and using the "I'm doing the speed limit" assnine reply is directly akin to blocking fuel pumps.

Apparently, the new breed truly do not know how to share the road w/other drivers, inclusive of 4 wheelers.A couple of drivers on this particular thread really feel as if they own the highway and absolutely refuse to act in a mature manner. Both drivers have 0-1 year listed as total driving experience.Coincidence, ignorance,or elitist?
