    Hey,
I am using EagleiGPS's Fleet Tracking technology, http://eagleigps.com/, Vaughan. I hadn't experienced any kind of discomfort till now (it's being 1.5 years). I used to go for long trips. But my friend had faced similar problems with his GPS, I heard that it was some issues with the GPS positioning. You were using it for 1 year, then it is better to have a change. What about the warranty? I heard that GPS can be installed in Android phones, how it works?

Something else in play here.. The USB cable has nothing to do with the picking up of GPS signal. The Slice on the mount is a GPS signal booster.

How do you have the DC Cord plugged in or are you using a DC/USB adapter?

Okay,,, on the DC plug, what is the output? It should be 5vdc@2amp, DO NOT USE the USB/DC adapters. They may be rated, but if you look at the battery chart under settings, you will see it slowly drain the battery. I tried a 5vdc@2.4amp, and I noticed running the Truck GPS that within 4-5 hours the battery was drained. The Truck GPS used more than the USB/DC adapter was able to provide.
