Got my new truck assignment over the weekend. I have to say it’s pretty nice. The new flat tops have about a foot bigger sleeper berth and what a difference that makes. Also a little table and cubby closet, and a small fridge. It’ll make over nighters much more comfortable. Will have to get used to the automatic though, however the floor space gained by no stick makes it easier to slip back to the bunk. Calling for 2-3 inches of snow tonight and Monday with a chance of freezing rain, so might as well just send it while getting used to the auto I guess
to all end dump haulers...

Sadly, no.kylefitzy, 650cat425, MACK E-6 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That’s a sweet looking ride @motocross25, as long as your automatic has a manual mode it shouldn’t do too bad in the elements.
650cat425 Thanks this. -
I'm so sorry
That really is a nice color scheme regardless. I really like that blue. -

Well it’s been quiet in here. We left Monday to go trade in old trailers. Got some soaking wet soupy clay for Logansport to get us up there. I thought certainly it would be a nightmare coming out, but it slid out in one big clump no problem. Stayed the night there then went to Knox, IN. Hooked on to the new trailers and nothing worked. Lights, our buttons in the cab to drop our tag axles, nothing. They quickly found it was a wiring problem, so we spent about 3 hours there while they did some rewiring. Missed our reload in Chicago for the day, so we hunkered down close and got it Wednesday morning. And what a treat it was. Right on the lake on the Indiana side, across the port in an industrial hell hole. One of those where you get there and don’t even know where to begin to see if you’re even close to the right place. About 2 hours and 4 different scales to leave there we were out. Dumped in Boss, MO and bounced to Fulton MO the next day to get clay for KC. A long week but an easy one. The new truck running good. I noticed the first night you can’t bump up the idle, so upon arrival today I told the shop. They said it’s just a parameter that needs set and they were pulling it in as I was leaving in my car. How’s everyone else’s week?
In that cluster was where we were. This is the best view of it, the one circling around and leaving. Chicago across the pond.
Crossing the East Chicago Indiana harbor. Excuse the poor picture quality and shoddy images. I’m an end dumper first, and a photographer 2nd. Or maybe 137th.hannafarms and 650cat425 Thank this. -
