    @Qbf594, here's one for you...

    You are like this guy with the dashcam. Whether the parent did or did not know the baby fell out is irrelevant. Whether that guy knew he hit BarrNunn or did not hit the truck is irrelevant too. I gotta go with Mr Ridgeline on this one. Tell that BarrNunn driver what you saw, and let him decide what to do.

    The case of the Scratch and Dent....

    When a company Vehicle is damaged while parked anywhere....only the company driver is responsible for reporting it to the company safety mgr.

    As a witness, you can give a statement to a police officer on the scene of the accident for the offical accident report.

    Your word is considered hearsay if you give it to the driver without a signed affidavit with a witness.
