Hey yall. Sitting in ohio since Friday night.
Load I was assigned went bust due to good friday.
Started clock to go to wally world yesterday to stock up.
34 hr will be done at about midnight.
I currently have 23.5 hrs with 9 coming back at midnight.
Live load at 8 am 2.5 hrs from me with a hot shot to Louisiana by 1430 Tuesday. 1050 miles from shp to con.
Do I wait for reset and leave at 5 am to head to shp? Or do I roll to near shp and start my morning with 31 available hrs?
I'm going to Vegas 4/2 for my hometime.
    What say you?

It would depend how many hours you got coming in the next week. If you don't, then do the re-set. How many hours do you have on the recap for tue, wed, thur, fri, and sat?

With your home time so close I say just run recap, that of course if your recap is consistent. But it never hurts doing a reset if you can, as long as u can make your appointment

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

If you got 35 hours coming back over the next 5 days then I would go off the recap. You will have about 30 when you get to the reciever and then the added 35 hrs gives you 65 hrs for the week. More then enough.

I can make pickup. Worried about little on the other end. I think that 2 hrs in the morning to shipper puts it off a little. I could be wrong. Most of my route is hwy, but I have some US single lane as well

Werner. I have this gut feeling I should shoot over to toledo as I may need those 2 hrs in the morning due to live load.

Just figure your trip at 45 mph and that will tell you how many hours ya need. Example: 2000 miles divided by 45 = 44 hours to make the trip. 45 mph covers check in time at shipper/reciever pre trips, and two lane hwys.

If you are absolute possitve you can be on the road at 5 am I would leave then. But also will there be heavy stop and go traffic along the way.If so I would head to shp now then you won't have to get up so early in the morning.
