This is not the first TQL mouth piece that has been on here and posted the same canned response, it is just smoke and mirrors.

This issue was researched and resolved immediately, three weeks ago. I communicated all information directly with Boardman.

I know the feeling very well. At the end of the day after you have had to kill all day working with them they will call you back if they have not moved the load at a cheap rate and go with your rate. Then my driver has to rush like crazy alot of the times just to get to the shipper before they close, which is putting him in a dangerous situation I think. But I do not put all the blame on TQL. TQL is not the only broker that does this, there are alot more brokers out there that work the same way. The only reason the brokers are working the boards like this is because someone is hauling the freight at a cheaper rate and guess who is doing that! I tell you what gets me even more then this is when a broker agrees to your rate and you have a confirmation in hand you get a phone call back within 15 minutes or so after taking the load and they give you some kind of an excuse that the load fell through. And alot of the times I think what happen is they just moved it at a cheaper rate (my fellow trucker). That has happen different of times to me and no matter who the broker is that is just bad bussiness.

I just called them on a load today. Seems the people I'm with and them do not play together any more.
I called our office and asked why not. Somebody has gone over set credit limit...

First of all I appreciate that you say it, like it is, and not afraid of any one even though saying things here usually hurt the truckers. But I disagree with you when you say "fellow trucker" when we truckers have no way to communicate and help each other, and there is no unity among us. These big shots are going after one trucker at a time and teaching them that if they mess with them you will starve. But seems like no one cares and there are no laws that can protect the truckers, and it appears as if all the laws only favor the big shots. I have been ganged up by them many times in the pass, and have been forced to take cheap loads or stave. You know how we used to believe that 90% people are good, now those believes are slipping away after working in this industry (I now feel the opposite) . Do you always have a problem in every load, like there is an extra stop even if the load is posted with 1p 1d and no touch? And do you always get calls from five different sides on a cheapest load. And do they always tell you that he is on the other line and some one other than the guy who you book the load with, has to answer the phone?? I booked a load for $1050 out of North jersey with 825 miles, yesterday AM, and today they cancelled it. What do you do when they hold you on alert for a day and a half and then cancel without a regard ( Con Way, TQL, Freight Quote)

You find some brokers, other than the huge outfits, that come to respect your service and that you do a good job. They WILL pay you well providing you are in a freight lane that is a profitable one. The TQL, CHR, etc of the world once they know you will haul it for cheap they will be banging down your door for you to haul it more often. I made this mistake once. Not again. I tell them straight up now that other people are willing to pay me more and if they can't match it then I will pass on their load. No hard feelings I am just telling them like it is. Sometimes they will call on a friday and tell me they are willing to pay my rate now. By this time I've already got a good paying load booked. Sorry, should of done that in the first place. BTW, this is NOT a TQL/CHR story.

I overheard few Russian truckers in Bordentown Loves , that are planning to boycott TQL for two weeks before Christmas. An Indian standing next to them said yeh that will put them back in their place. Even though I do not support Strikes but I have been ganged up by these brokers so many times that it seems like not a bad thing. For example TQL , Landstar Sunteck and any other in the AL and TN area, were offering the same $1400 for 900 loaded miles 45k to northeast. They forced me to take a load to cover the cost for fuel $1150 to North East towards the end of the week. That month I had to borrow money to cover the $8000/year insurance Carolina Casualty??
How are you guys treated by them, even if you do not treat them bad???
