I told him I don't want to get a ticket. His response was, "you won't get an f'n ticket, just keep f'n goin".

My trainer makes me fill out my driver daily evaluation form. He said, "you know what you need to work on". Is this the norm?

Your a grown adult, I would be sure not to let someone talk down to me that way swearing at me, tell him to go F himself...

Just because hes a trainer does not mean that he has any right to talk down to you and swear at you like that, if he wants all the miles tell him to drive them himself...

Who do you drive for (i' think i might know based on the speed information you gave me)?? As for going 70 in a 55, I'd tell him you are the driver and its your license not his. If he were to continue, I'd call and send a message to safety about his unsafe training methods. Regarding driving evaluations, my trainer never gave me one. It was you are doing it right or not doing right.

I know right from wrong. I will however try my best to accomadate him. When I get on my own, I will definitely be more safe. Hopefully 2 weeks from tomorrow will be the end of HELL!

Well I guess speeding is one thing I won't have to worry about while training with Swift ! :) Anyhow that's too bad that your trainer is such an A..H... , I agree with the others I think I would contact your safety team and get a new trainer. Best of Luck to you !

If you're loaded and going down a hill, you can definitely speed, no matter how slow the truck is. Trucks where I work are goverened at 65.

I don't want to mess with another trainer, because I don't want to take a chance on being in a worse situation. I'll just tough it out. You know as well as I do how fast time goes by.

first off, IMO, trainee/trainer are a team of sorts, since you're sharing a very small space for days/weeks on end. One word that seems to fit this situation is: COMPROMISE.
As to the trainer who insists you speed, tell him to shove it, or if you're afraid you'll get left in the middle of nowhere, contact the company behind his back and let safety know...but DO NOT think that following that lackwit's advice of "just f'in drive" at 70 in a 55 is a situation you can "just tough out". The only thing you're going to get that way is screwed out of your new career. I was hit with the "you gotta run harder!" line many times, and that was driving dump truck locally! Usually it was because there was a construction zone between points A and B...I would look at the idiot in question and tell 'em in no uncertain terms, "It's MY license on the line, not yours WHEN I get pulled over. Thanks, but no." (or in some cases, "when I do what you want and I tip the truck over, WHO will pay for ALL the damages? YOU? I think not, I'll do it my way.")
Some things you can't compromise on ("I'll drive his way (15 over) til I'm done training, then drive safe speeds when I'm solo")...best of luck!
