Don't get discouraged on the backing, it'll come in time. Even seasoned driver's have bad time's. Just take your time.

I'll have you know, that since I got on my own, and finally figured out the mechanics of setting up for back.... I've never had a problem!!! BTW, I have a slightly used bridge in Brooklyn for sale. You interested? :biggrin_25522:

Seriously, backing comes with practice and like Bigo said, don't be discouraged. You'll get it and even seasoned drivers have problems. Some days, your the dog, and somedays, you'll be the hydrant.

    I did the transam lease.
they ran me good for sometime
got into a brand new truck.
    what a big mistake!
    like most of the drivers..
had no/little experience behind the wheel.
    none at o/o!
    same story was told..
if it don't work you can switch to company.

    needless to say..
6 months later I turned truck in.

    Calan,

Get a good accountant to help you out with the taxes. My advice and I am sure others will agree is to do them quarterly in case the l/o does not work out. Good luck and keep us posted. Could you please gives us some numbers as well.

*snickers then laughs*. Just came back to the yard after feeding my face. What do I see as I pull in? Pretty blue lites a flashing. Pretty bad when a full grown, follows a driver into the comapny yd. Wonder what he did and how long he will be suspended for?

was a l/o for TA whatch your loads at first you'll get small deadhead and big oalded miles then it will change you'll deadhead 500 miles and get paid for 200 loaded guess what your losing your ##### because your not getting fuel surcharge on empty miles. good luck maybe it'll work out for you.
